South Tyrol is a land full of contrasts: the indigenous and acclimatized grape varieties, the diversity of different soils, the low and high altitudes, the cool downdrafts from the mountains, the Mediterranean climate in Bolzano… South Tyrol offers us everything to create outstanding wines with a strong identity.

For us, the wine production is a creative process. From bud break to flowering and harvest, we carefully monitor the development of our vines, respecting the nature and emphasizing the typicity of each site while preserving the natural differences of each vintage. We operate on the principle that quality originates in the vineyard, and we strive to maintain this through gentle practices in the cellar, crafting authentic and exceptional wines.

We exclusively process grapes from our own vineyards and leased plots. Many of our vineyards are labor-intensive steep slopes. We aim to preserve old vines as they provide particularly high-quality grapes. Many of these old vines are trained on pergolas, our traditional training system, requiring extensive manual labor as mechanical processing is limited.

In the cellar, we tailor the processing of the grapes and the aging of the wine to the respective sites. We know our vineyards, and our experience helps us make the right decisions. Often, it’s the details that are crucial for the balance in the final result. We strive to preserve the origin character and vintage differences while limiting interventions to the necessary.

In the tranquility of our cellar, our wines mature to their full potential. The listed walls in combination with a new structure provide excellent conditions for processing the grapes with targeted care. We use the most suitable vessels for each wine, whether oak, concrete, or stainless steel.
